At the meeting held on 12th January, there were a few changes with Hames Allen taking over the Secretary's job from Malcolm Wilson. A huge thank you to Malc for all the time and effort he's put into the club over the years and he'll still be helping Jan run the club events. James has also volounteered to send in the Press reports each week. Connie Ogden has been given a Vice Presidency and Christine Minto takes on the job of Social Secretary once again.
This event was as succesful as ever, with John Walton, Carole Cherry and Richard Cherry winning various prizes for their efforts.
A number of club members took part in this 40 mile ride, including young Richard Cherry, preparing for a later (longer and hillier) event.
The monthly committee meeting for April is being brought forward to 30th March, rather than the usual second Friday of the month, due to calendar clashes.
This will be held,, again, at the Strafford Arms at Stainborough, on the second Saturday in November (the 10th). Often we don't have an actual visiting Guest Of Honour and/or Speaker, but if you have any suggestions or other ideas for the evening, please mention them at a Committee Meeting.
